Goldsmithing Foundation Course in Lisbon
Eight private lessons to learn the foundations of traditional goldsmithing — ending with a functional piece designed and made by you.
About this workshop
This private programme introduces and deepens three fundamental techniques of traditional goldsmithing — forging, chasing and Portuguese filigree — combining technical experimentation, design thinking and contemporary making.
Over 8 one-to-one sessions (24 hours) you are guided from the first technical exercises to the design and execution of a functional, original piece that combines the techniques learned.
Pace and content adapt to each participant's experience and goals.
