Ring resizing in Lisbon
An inherited ring that doesn't fit, a wedding band that's become tight: in most cases the size can be adjusted without it showing.
The service
For small differences, the band can be stretched or compressed on a mandrel. For larger ones, we cut the band and add or remove metal, then solder and finish the area so the join disappears.
Every ring is assessed first: eternity settings, continuous engraving or filigree need different solutions, and sometimes rebuilding the band is better than stretching it.

Frequently asked questions
Can every ring be resized?
Almost every ring, but not in the same way. Rings set with stones all around, or made of very hard materials, may not allow it. We assess from a photo.
How many sizes can I go up?
It depends on the band's width and thickness. Stretching only works for small differences; beyond that we add metal.
Will the resizing show?
The area is soldered and polished to look uniform. Plated pieces may need re-plating.
How do I know my size?
Measure the inside circumference of a ring that fits, or follow our guide. If in doubt, visit the atelier by appointment.
