A broken chain, a clasp that no longer holds, an earring missing its back: many pieces forgotten in a drawer can be repaired, often more easily than you'd think.
The service
We repair silver and gold jewellery at the atelier bench, with the same traditional techniques we use to make our own pieces: soldering, forging and hand finishing.
Before touching a piece, we assess what can be repaired, what is better replaced and how to keep its original look. If a repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
We also repair family heirlooms and antique jewellery, with the care they need.

Frequently asked questions
Do you repair jewellery not bought from Ignis?
Yes. We repair silver and gold jewellery wherever it was bought.
Do you repair costume jewellery?
Usually not. Base-metal, glued or hollow pieces rarely take soldering. Send us a photo and we'll tell you if it can be fixed.
How long does it take?
It depends on the work. Timing is given in the quote, before we start.
Do I need to come to the atelier?
A photo is enough for a quote. The piece can be dropped off by appointment or sent by registered post.
